Gap measuring device


The newly developed gap measuring device works with a tactile sensor that can be inserted into narrow gaps down to less than 0.5 mm. It thus replaces feeler gauges and spies in a wide range of applications where previously only qualitative tests could be carried out. This eliminates the need for lengthy probing to determine quantitative measurement values.

A simple measurement with the specially manufactured gap measurement sensor is sufficient to determine the exact gap width. The gapMaster® also serves as a replacement for optical measuring methods where, for example, the surface condition or the position of the gap leads to difficulties in the measurement.

The mobile handset offers a wide range of functions. With the intuitive touch screen operation, performing measurements or creating a test plan is no problem. The large display allows different measured value and test plan presentations. The transmission of the measured results can be wireless or wired.
